About Minna Lehväslaiho
I'm an artist and illustrator based in two cute cities in South Finland: Kauniainen (our happiest city) and Porvoo (our most beautiful one).
I illustrate postcards for a well regarded Finnish postcard publisher Paletti, and they use my illustrations to make cards for Korttien Talo, unicef, and the Finnish Red Cross.
I'm a member of the Finnish Illustration Association (Kuvittajat ry), and a board member of the Association of Finnish Naive Artists (Suomen Naivistit ry).
I have exhibited my paintings in countries such as Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Israel, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, and Switzerland.
As an artist, I'm seIf taught. I have Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Science from the University of Helsinki (biochemistry, chemistry, physics, and virology) and a Diploma in Literature and Creative Writing from The Open University, UK.
